Recently, Hebei Wen'an County Junlu Metal Products Co., Ltd. successfully passed the ISO 9001:2015 (latest version) quality management system re‑certification audit. The audit team highly praised the company’s digital quality traceability system from raw material incoming to finished product dispatch, stating that its process control capability has reached an advanced level in the industry.
In recent years, Junlu Metal has continuously promoted digitalization of quality management. Upon arrival, all steel materials undergo chemical composition analysis by direct‑reading spectrometer, and original mill certificates are uploaded and permanently stored in the ERP system. During production, key stations such as CNC punching, bending, and welding are equipped with online sensors that monitor dimensions and process parameters in real time, automatically alarming and stopping the machine when tolerances are exceeded. Before leaving the factory, every batch of finished products must pass mechanical performance tests (tensile, bending, impact) as well as visual and dimensional sampling, following the special inspection level of GB/T 2828.1‑2012.
At the closing meeting, the audit team leader noted: “Junlu Metal’s quality management system is not only well documented – what’s more valuable is the full participation and thorough execution. Frontline workers are proficient in using SPC control charts to analyze process variation, which is rare among small and medium‑sized metal product companies.”
The company’s quality director said: “Certification is not the end, but the starting point for continuous improvement. We have launched Six Sigma green belt training and aim to raise our first‑pass yield from 98.5% to over 99.5%.”
